How we print imported paper
Most printing is on standard art card, and for most jobs that is right. But there is a class of work — the founder's card, the wedding suite, the brand that sells on touch — where the paper is the message. Imported boards are made for that: heavier, with a surface that has texture, a natural or deep-black colour, and a stiffness that says something before a word is read.
We stock and print on Rendezvous boards — a cotton-feel stock available in bright white and black — and source other imported textured and coloured papers to order. Black stock prints in white, gold or silver ink or foil; textured whites take letterpress and foil especially well. Because these are specialty stocks, we recommend seeing a swatch before committing; Ahmedabad and Pune customers can handle the range at the press, and we can courier swatches.
Imported-paper jobs are quoted per order because the stock, the size and the finish combine differently every time. Send the artwork or brief on WhatsApp and we come back with paper options, a price and a timeline.

Imported Paper Printing — questions we are asked
What is Rendezvous paper?
A premium cotton-feel board with a soft, slightly textured surface, made in bright white and deep black. It is a favourite for visiting cards that need to feel substantial, and the black stock takes white, gold and silver printing beautifully.
Can you print white ink on black paper?
Yes — white ink, and gold or silver ink or foil, on black Rendezvous and similar dark boards. Fine text stays crisp in foil; for very small text we advise white ink.
Can I see the paper before ordering?
Yes. Visit the press in Ahmedabad or Pune to handle the swatches, or ask us to courier a swatch set. On a specialty stock we would rather you choose by touch than by photograph.
Is imported paper much more expensive?
Per sheet, yes — it is a specialty stock. On a visiting card, where each card uses very little paper, the difference per card is small next to the impression it makes. We quote so you can compare against standard stock.
Do you combine imported paper with letterpress or foil?
Often — cotton boards are the natural home of letterpress, and dark boards are made for foil. Say what you have in mind and we suggest the pairing that will print best.
