How we print restaurant menu

A menu is handled by every customer, wiped after every table and blamed for every price the kitchen changes. It has to be printed on card heavy enough not to flop (250 GSM art card), laminated so sauce wipes off, and in a quantity that lets you replace worn copies without reprinting the lot. For places that change prices often, a QR menu stand on the table plus a small printed card of the signatures is the practical mix.

We print single-sheet menus in A4 and A5, folded menus (bi-fold and tri-fold) for longer lists, tent cards for specials and combos, and takeaway menu flyers on lighter paper that go into every delivery bag. Cloud kitchens use the flyer format almost exclusively: it is the only print the customer sees.

Send your menu as a PDF, or send the item list and prices and our design team lays it out. Every order gets a PDF proof; on a menu, proofreading the prices is the part that matters most, so check it twice.

Restaurant Menu Printing — questions we are asked

What is the best paper for a restaurant menu?

250 GSM art card with gloss or matte lamination. It is stiff enough to hand over without flopping and the lamination lets staff wipe it clean. Matte lamination shows fewer fingerprints; gloss makes food photography brighter.

How many menus should a restaurant print?

About one per seat plus 30% spare — a 40-seat restaurant prints 50–60. Menus wear at the corners within a few months, so the spare copies are replacements, not waste.

Can you print a menu without lamination?

Yes, and it is the right choice for takeaway flyers that go in a bag. For a table menu we recommend lamination; the cost is small next to reprinting every quarter.

Do you design menus?

Yes. Send the item list, prices and any photographs on WhatsApp; our designers lay it out in your brand colours and send a PDF proof. Check every price on the proof before approving.

Can I get a small quantity, like 20 menus?

Yes — menus are printed digitally at low quantities, from 100 for the best rate but smaller runs are possible. Ask on WhatsApp for a quote at your exact number.

Ready when you are

Send the brief on WhatsApp — quote, paper options and timeline in one reply.

Artwork ready? Attach it. Not yet? Send the text and logo and our designers set it up. Either way you approve a PDF proof before anything prints.
