Choosing the right paper for visiting cards
Matte, gloss, textured, or premium 350 gsm — a quick guide to picking the stock that matches your brand.
Why paper matters more than the design
A great visiting card design on cheap stock feels cheaper than a plain card on premium paper. Paper is the FIRST thing the customer touches — before they read your name.
Our four most-asked options
- Matte 300 gsm — the everyday workhorse. Smooth, no glare, takes a pen well for handwritten notes.
- Gloss 300 gsm — sharper colours, photo-friendly. Best for designs that lean on imagery.
- Textured 350 gsm — slight tooth on the surface; reads as premium even before the customer sees the print.
- Premium uncoated 400 gsm — flagship card. Pairs beautifully with letterpress or foil.
