What this size is for

At 6 × 9 inch (152 × 229 mm), this envelope takes an A5 sheet flat, or an A4 sheet folded once. It is the size businesses order for day-to-day business post, invoices, statements, cheques, appointment letters and salary slips. This is the size most offices get through in the largest volume, which is why it is the cheaper of the two per piece.

80 GSM Sunshine is the standard office envelope — light, economical, and perfectly good for post that will be opened and discarded. Step up to 100 GSM when the envelope carries something important and you want it to feel substantial in the hand. The gloss-laminated option is the one to pick when the envelope itself is doing marketing work: it resists scuffing in transit and keeps printed colour looking sharp.

Flap side and window

Flap: Short Opening ( 6 Inch Flap Side ) or Long opening ( 9 Inch Flap Side ). A short-side opening is the familiar office envelope; a long-side opening gives you a wider printable face, which suits a large logo or a full-bleed design.

Window: No or Yes (+₹220 per 1,000). A window saves your team from printing and sticking address labels — the address already on the document shows through. For invoices and statements going out in bulk every month, it removes a whole step from the job.

Ordering and quantities

Envelopes are printed in runs of 1,000, and you can order any multiple of 1,000 up to 40,000 in a single job. Larger runs bring the per-envelope cost down, so if you know roughly what you get through in a year it is usually worth printing in one go.

₹3,300 for 1,000 envelopes on the standard 80 GSM paper, plus GST — about ₹3.30 per envelope. Upgraded paper, a window, or both are charged on top, and the page shows the updated total the moment you change an option.

Artwork, proofing and delivery

Send a print-ready PDF with 3 mm bleed, or simply send us your logo and address and our team will set the artwork for you at no charge. We send a free PDF proof for your approval before anything is printed.

Printing takes 3 to 5 Working Days from proof approval. We dispatch pan-India by DTDC, Delhivery, Bluedart and India Post, with tracking sent by SMS and email. Envelopes are printed and converted in our own press, so quality and timing stay in our hands.
